M. Pederson Author of Dark Fiction, Soft Grief, and Human Truths

I write stories for the tenderhearted, the overwhelmed, and the beautifully human.

My work blends emotional honesty, quiet grief, dark humor, and the strange magic that lives inside everyday life. I write fiction, poetry, and personal essays that sit with you long after you close the page.

Full Author Bio

M. Pederson is a multidisciplinary writer exploring grief, trauma, healing, neurodivergence, and the complicated ways humans love each other.

Her fiction leans dark, atmospheric, and intimate. Her nonfiction is soft, validating, and deeply human — written for people who feel too much and keep going anyway.

She writes for the ones who carry too much, think too deeply, and feel everything all at once.

When she isn’t writing, she’s building The Pederson Effect — an emotional‑support ecosystem for sensitive, overwhelmed humans — and creating the Fried Brain Factory, a chaotic‑cute merch universe featuring her signature Brain Gremlins.

She publishes under M. Pederson to give her stories a dedicated home where they can breathe, evolve, and reach the readers who need them most.
