Your love. I thought I couldn't live without it.
The mere thought of losing you hurt my soul. You hypnotized me, a slow, toxic current that made my heart and soul ache for you, refusing to let go. I felt I was drowning in your presence—you made me feel like I was the only one, yet you would always grow cold.
That volatility, that crushing toxicity, didn't just end our love; it pulverized the version of me that existed for you.
But the fever has broken. The hypnosis is gone. The deepest liberation is the final silence. I no longer feel you in my blood. This page is the static left behind when the signal finally cuts out. It is the sound of the silence I claimed back.
