When pain is intense enough, you start doing things you swore you’d never do.
Like considering:
buying guru stuff
traveling the world to find ancient herbs
trying rituals you can’t pronounce
googling “miracle cure” at 3 a.m. like it’s a personality trait
Nothing helps. I really mean that.
And that’s the part people don’t get unless they live it.
It’s not just “this hurts.”
It’s “this hurts and it’s stealing my life.”
You get tired of being brave. You get tired of “being strong.” You get tired of having to explain your pain in a way that won’t make other people uncomfortable.
And the scariest thought creeps in:
What if this is forever?
So here’s my truth: I’ve been desperate. I’ve been scared. I’ve been exhausted. And I’ve kept going anyway, even when my best was microscopic.
